Gateley’s revenue has increased by 15.7 per cent from £67m to £77.6m in its second full year as a listed entity. The firm also saw an 18.8 per cent rise in profit, before tax increased, of £2.1m to £13.1m. These figures are the second for Gateley since listing on the London Stock Exchange in 2015, when the firm took advantage of the Alternative Business Structure (ABS). In the first year since the launch, Gateley posted double-digit turnover growth, up 10.9 per cent from £80m to £88.7m. This year, the firm reported that adjusted earnings before interest and tax (EBITDA) stood at £14.7m for the 2017/17 financial year, up from £12.9m.
